Dr. Sue Sings Funny Thanksgiving Song

Dr. Sue Sings Funny Original Thanksgiving Song! Positive Entertainment

Dr. Sue Sings Original Funny Song about Voting & Thanksgiving Turkey!
Positive Entertainment

Every Thanksgiving, I give thanks that I am not a turkey!

This popular holiday celebrates the arrival (and survival) of European immigrants on the North American continent with a Thanksgiving feast. Virginia and Massachusetts boast about hosting the first Thanksgiving. You don’t hear as much from the Native Americans, who were already here. Turkeys are prominently featured on most American Thanksgiving tables and greatly admired – but they are not available for comment.

Why not? What wisdom can we glean from the fate of turkeys? Surely we should learn something after hundreds of years… or at least four years after the 2016 election!

If you think that someone who looks rich and claims to be a “real American” because his ancestors got here a few generations ago, will Make America Great for You, consider the fate of the foolish turkey…who gets plucked!

Enjoy my Song Video “Life is Just a Bowl of Gravy!”
Scroll down for song lyrics.

"Life is Just a Bowl of Gravy"

This is a tale of a turkey bird who went to a turkey trot
When anyone asked her "Will you dance?" She answered, "I will not"
I'll only dance with a gentleman who makes my country great
If he's got money I'll call him my honey, and he will be my date.

Life is just a bowl of gravy - saucy and surprising
Life is just a bowl of gravy - and very appetizing!

Suddenly somebody stepped on in who came from pilgrim stock
He said "I'll be candid, my boat has just landed nearby on Plymouth Rock
I sail the Mayflower and I got the power and you look mighty fine
Please do not stall my sweet Butterball and come with me to dine

Life is just a bowl of gravy - saucy and surprising
Life is just a bowl of gravy - and very appetizing!

They went to a fabulous restaurant, she was his dinner date
But when they got there, the table was bare except for an empty plate
The rest of the story is terribly gory - her fate we still recall
If you didn't get here by the Mayflower dear
We're in the same boat - so get out and Vote!
And dance at your own Turkey Ball!

Life is just a bowl of gravy - saucy and surprising
Life is just a bowl of gravy - and very appetizing!

Dr. Sue Health Tips COVID-19 Positive Entertainment

Here are Health Tips to Prevent Infection! Don’t touch your face! COVID-19, like most coronaviruses and the flu, enter the body through the mucous membranes in the eyes, nose, and mouth – all of them on the face. I realized that one of the main reasons that I touch my face is to brush away my loose hair that falls on my face. So I fastened my hair with a scrunchy and tucked it under my cap. Wearing the cap also reminds me – don’t touch my face! I’m on my solo walk in the park. I’m keeping social distance – with fresh air, sunshine, flowers,… and a curious squirrel who ran up to my feet. But I walked away. Better rude than sorry ūüôā Touching your face is an unconscious habit, and it’s easy to slip – so wash or sanitize your hands as soon as you get home – do it regularly. Cover your nose and mouth. Health Care Workers need medical-grade masks but a scarf or home-made mask offers some protection Avoid touching paper and public surfaces – that includes cash, receipts, doorknobs, railings, etc. Hydration, multivitamins and particularly zinc are helpful for body’s defense against all viruses. Use as directed. Excess of¬† any vitamins and minerals not recommended and could actually lower your immune response. Do not take Ibuprofen or Advil – unless truly necessary. According to some sources, these drugs make the virus much worse – with patients winding up on ventilators. This warning about Ibuprofen and Advil is disputed, but we say, why take the risk? Be mindful of early symptoms of COVID-19, which include:
  • Feeling achy or exhausted
  • unusual sniffles
  • low grade temp or flushing
  • alteration of smell or taste.
If symptoms progress to frequent coughing or Shortness of Breath, seek medical care immediately. Early diagnosis and treatment is essential to keep the morbidity and mortality low. Health Advice comes from Medical Doctors with Experience in Infectious Respiratory Disease.¬† Here’s my Video with Health Tips!¬†

Dr. Sue Liquid BioCell for Joints and Skin Positive Entertainment

Dr. Sue & Health Coach Tony Pajunen

Dr. Sue & Health Coach Tony Pajunen

Active Joints, Amazing Skin! That’s the promise of¬†Liquid BioCell – an all-natural, multi-patented, award-winning¬†nutritional supplement called Liquid BioCell. How does Liquid BioCell work?¬†Our bodies are made up of 70% water – it’s in our joints, skin, bones, eyes, gums – every tissue of our bodies. ¬†As we age, we lose water (that’s why dehydration is a health risk – especially for the elderly). ¬†Our skin wrinkles and sags, and we dry up like prunes! Wait, there’s more! ¬†Our joints lose collagen (the cushion between the bones) so our bones begin to rub directly against each other with no cushion, creating painful arthritis (inflammation of the joints)¬†– and the next thing you know, you’re headed for surgery (knee replacement? hip replacement?) – risky, painful¬†procedures that don’t always work! What about our¬†bones? ¬†They’re getting stiff, brittle, porous and prone to fracture. One bad fall, and there¬†you are, lying in a¬†nursing home bed, getting weaker as your muscles atrophy, and losing your eyesight due to macular degeneration. Meanwhile, your gums are shrinking, and your teeth are falling out! (That’s no good – unless you’re a Jack O’Lantern!) You may have noticed that Tony and I look cheerful. He’s a youngster¬†of 31,¬†but I’m on the far side of fifty – so I’m very¬†interested in staying healthy and leading a full, active life! ¬†That’s why I was curious¬†about Liquid BioCell – skeptical, but¬†curious. ¬†Here’s what I learned. Liquid BioCell is a multi-patented, award-winning¬†collagen matrix that has passed 37 clinical trials and¬†is recommended by ¬†orthopedic surgeons, plastic surgeons, and nutritionists. ¬†In 2015, it won several awards for best bone and joint health supplement, and was featured on several USA national news programs. According to its Ivy League educated, scientific leadership team, Liquid BioCell works through a¬†patented formula of “hyaluronic acid” and collagen,¬†which begin to decline in our bodies after the age of 25. This formula penetrates and hydrates the molecules of our bodies far beyond what simple water or any topical skin cream can accomplish. And unlike plastic surgery (which cuts and pulls¬†aging skin¬†– with no health benefit) Liquid BioCell promises to generate healthier, younger skin from the inside out in about 3-4 months – with no risk. I don’t claim to understand all the science, but the clinical studies, personal stories,¬†and before-and-after photos¬†are impressive!¬†Some people have severe health issues and experience dramatic recovery (like the man who could not lift his arm and is now water skiing, or ¬†the former ballerina, who can dance again,¬†¬†or ¬†the 92 year old woman who has had several falls – without breaking bones). Even if you’re fortunate enough to enjoy good¬†health, I do believe that preventing problems is more effective and far¬†easier than trying to cure them.¬†I’m a practical person, and here’s how I see it.¬†If Liquid BioCell doesn’t work, then I’ll stop taking it – no harm done. If it does work, then I’m on a road to great¬†health, an active life style, and looking great! ¬†And who doesn’t want that? Video: Dr. Sue Invites You! rae-wangHuayuan Art, a New York based art foundation inspired by ancient Asian art and culture. sponsors an exhibit based on ancient Chinese Buddhist cave paintings. Here I am with Rae Wang, curator of Huyuang exhibition “The Other Lines of Time” – on display at 119 Ludlow Street, New York City. As Rae explained, the paintings in this exhibition are created with dry fresco technique, which recall the appearance of original murals in the Dunhuang Caves – part of the ancient trade route known as “The Silk Road”. The artist, scholar, and mural conservator is Shen Yongping. Traveling the ancient Silk Road is a journey through space and time of over a thousand years and miles – but you can experience this ancient, but surprisingly sophisticated Buddhist art by visiting the gallery or Huayuan Art www.huayuanus.com.
